Re: Computer Specs
Looks pretty awesome!
Wait is this like an "itt: post your computer specs" type of thread? If it is I might post my computer specs later on.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
Well, houkouonchi's post pretty much blows this away but:
It's a CyberpowerPC

- AMD FX-4100 3.6GHz 64 bit quad core processor
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- 500GB SATA hard drive (3Gb/s 7200 rpm)
You can actually look at the whole thing if you'd like. I think it was a pretty decent purchase for the money, and was a hell of a lot better than my older computer.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
Quad-Sli Riva TNT2 water cooled
Pentium Pro OCed to 250 MHz
256 mb ram DDR
running a modified windows 98 at 1280x768
that would be so much better than mine if it were the year 2000
sadly what i have is crappy anyways...
mobo: ECS a790gx-m
Nvidia 250gts that has probably a few months of life
amd phenom II x4 920
2 amazing GB of ram with one faulty slot that works half the time
my first psu exploded and melted a bit, got a silent pro m850, makes hiding cables a lot easier
its 5 years old

It was free.... but still my fanciest computer.
Re: Post Your Computer Specs
Looks like there wont be any gaming for you.
Other than stepmania of course.
I have enough power to play any modern game, but I still never really do it. There is little point to have such a computer. I like having the ability though because I do play things occasionally.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
I am not much on building PC's so, I just got a prebuilt one. (yeah, I want to build one some day but I doubt I will ever get the chance... Oh well.) Anyway, this is a decent computer and it works so, I won't complain. Lemme pull up system props...
Processor(s): AMD Athlon II x2 215 Processor 2.70 GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7 x64
Display: 1600x900
Hard drive: 500 GB
Audio: Realtek HD Audio
Hmm... I want some more ram... :\ (although... I am using virtual ram... I suppose it's enough...)
edit: I was never too interested in hardware stuff. I do have some experience with it though. :)

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
Well I have a few systems around. None are too spectacular.
Main PC:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 @ 3.40 Ghz
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870
RAM: 2 x 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600
HDD: 2 x 500GB Western Digital Blue hard drives. One is SATA3. One is IDE with a SATA adapter. Used to have them in RAID but I don't trust the integrity of that adapter.
OS: Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit
Server (built from spare parts and some new):
CPU: AMD Phenom II x2 @ 3.3 Ghz
GPU: Some onboard Radeon HD 4000 series chipset.
RAM: 2 x 2GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600
HDD: 128GB Kingston HyperX Solid State Drive
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
Experiment PC (a.k.a. Dell Dimension 2400 on steroids)
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.3 Ghz
GPU: Onboard intel graphics chipset
RAM: 2 x 1GB DDR 400
HDD: 2 x 20GB Seagate 15k RPM SCSI hard drives in RAID 0 (I can't believe the OEM Dell motherboard worked with the raid controller I put in
)
OS: Debian Wheezy 64-bit
I have some other stuff around, but those are my main ones.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
I recently upgraded my machine. The motherboard, cpu, ram (more added) and video card is different from before and I added an SSD.
Supermicro SC846 Chassis
Dual 8 core Xeon E5 4650L (2.6 Ghz, 3.1 Ghz turbo). 16 Cores total.
Supermicro X9DR3-LN4F+ motherboard
EVGA Geforce gtx 670 4GB
192GB DDR3 PC-1333 ECC Memory (24x8GB)
Internal Storage:
ARC-1280ML raid controller
24x2TB Hitachi SATA (raid6)
1x96GB Kingston SSD
External storage:
ARC-1880x raid controller (internal)
30x3TB Hitachi SATA (raid6)
Believe it or not but it uses less power at idle and normal load (more at max load) than my previous machine did which was a single quad core and 1/4th the number of DIMMs.
Some images (not great quality due to being from an iphone:

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
That sounds like a really expensive laptop.
I'm updating a few of my specs this weekend. Will post my new specs sometime after that.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
My graphic cards are starting to be a bit outdated but I'm planning a major upgrade in the next few month. Anyway, here's my config :
proc : Intel Core i7 3770K, 3.5 g/hz
motherboard : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CG8580
ram : 8 GB ddr3 1600 m/hz
graphic : two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
hard drive (sic, I want a ssd) :
1 TB 7200 rpm
1 TB 5400 rpm (from my old desktop)
screen :
first and oldest is t260HD Syncmaster from samsung, 26", fullHD, 5 years old but still rockin'. It was pretty expensive in the day, like 400 euros (550 dollars I think) 16:10, 5ms
second is asus VK266H, very like the first one, 26", fullHD, 4 years old, 5 ms and 16:10
the last one and most recent, MX279 from Asus, 27.2" 16:9, 2 ms, led technology, pretty expensive too, it's my main screen.
And that's it for me !

Case: cooler Master HAF XB Evo
Motherboard: Asrock Z68 LGA 1155

PSU: Corsair CX750M (Modular)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600 Mhz
Boot Drive: Intel SSD 180GB
Storage: 8TB WD Green (4x2TB)
Bought this new cube case because it looked cool. Was difficult to put together. Adding up the cost of the hardware it just passed $1500 combined. Another $600 for all 3 monitors and $150 for mouse and keyboard.

Asus X502CA. It's a decent little laptop that I got for Christmas. Would like to build my own rig soon.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
Updated it with green fans.
