Remove KcHecKa From SMO's Staff

I don't know what kind of ship you guys run here these days but this guy is ridiculous. Since I've started back up a month ago on SMO this moderator has periodically trolled me, sent me offensive PMs, etc. regularly. I don't know if it's because there's no one influencing "staff" like this guy or that it his shenanigans haven't been brought to anyone's attention. His job is voluntary, he shouldn't get to do whatever he wants and be a prick to whoever because he has moderator status.

Through his periodic stops into my room I find out that he does this to other people. This is what he does for fun. That is not supposed to be what makes SMO fun, clicking arrows and vibrating as fast as you can is. I'm honestly really damned embarrassed that THIS is who is on all of the time keeping an eye on the community, and the admins of this community should be too.

I've moderated much larger gaming communities than SMO will ever flourish to, and those communities are run by dedicated people who are ok with a thankless job. Why? Because they can be replaced if they don't accept the responsibility (power) modestly and effectively. They can be replaced by people who are willing to not abuse their status or flaunt it for ego, but utilize the tools they're given for the better of the community. Keeping this guy around is redundant to the growth of the community unless he learns how to behave like an adult.

I agree that KcHecka has no business being a moderator. He makes it a point to make everyone know that he is a moderator, frequently enters rooms with passwords to troll people, frequently threatens to ban people, and overall just acts like an entitled 12 year old.

You guys made a mistake by making him a moderator. He contributes pretty much nothing of value to the community and is doing more harm than good by a long shot. SMO doesn't need more moderators.

Another vouch that this guy bothered me a lot while online and disconnected me from the server once. I'm not on much these days but seeing this topic shows that his behaviour and attitude have not improved and that he is clearly unfit for his job.

It looks like quite a few people have concerns about how kcHecka has been handling themselves. I appreciate that it has been brought forward, I was not aware of any of this, and feel pretty bad knowing that you guys were apparently treated this way (especially from staff). I've recently been playing a lot on SMO, and frankly only recently have been really interacting with kcHecka. Now I don't have any personal direct negative experiences with them, but this could very well be because I am also a mod, or for some other reason I am unaware of. Regardless, if these sorts of things are happening to anyone at all, it's obviously unacceptable and should be dealt with. Staff, above all else, should be striving to ensure they are upstanding community members.

Seeing this amount of forum activity spring up is pretty telling, and the reply kcHecka made to this thread is even more so. Instead of trying to explain any misunderstandings, defend themselves, or even apologize, they just reply to the least relevant part of the post. KcHecka, talking about how your day was "rough" when you've been accused of numerous things (like deliberately entering password protected rooms just to mess with people, or apparently continuing to harass someone despite the fact they are clearly upset about your actions) is pretty ridiculous to say the least. Also that chatango log my goodness, stuff like:

Even if it was meant to be silly, or a joke, it's very apparent that people do not find it funny, and have been trying to get you to quit it for a while now. A very good thing to know when practicing humor is when to stop, so you don't cross the line and upset people. I don't know if everything being said (or that will be said) is entirely true, but I can't imagine why all these people would lie about something like this. I don't believe anyone would care in the slightest to try and remove you from your moderator position, unless you were having a negative influence on them, or the community in general. I don't have any control on the outcome of this situation, but there is my two cents.

Practically the only reason for mods to exist right now on SMO is to answer peoples questions and represent the community. This wasn't the kind of behavior I want associated with the SMO staff.
