Keybinding

Hi!

I am completely brand new to StepMania, so please forgive me if this comes across as dumb (or if I'm posting in the wrong section of the forum). I have watched a few videos and noticed people bind their keys to A, S , W, K, L etc. Are there any general or universally used key bindings and if so what are they?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It is just whatever you are comfy with. Lots of spread people like "z x . /" When I played index I used up,down,left,right and w,a,s,d.
