Interesting occurance during gameplay.

Ok, I was playing stepmania 5.1 (32-bit on a 64-bit OS (I'm to lazy to compile the source version :p)), and whenever I'm using the arrow keys, the damn thing minimizes then resumes gameplay, thus causing me to fail.

I'm running windows 8.1 64-bit, 16gigs of ram, my vid card is a geforce1050ti, using a LCD HDTV (27" (that's what she said :)).

Anyway, if anyone could explain to me WHY this crap is happening, that would be much appreciated.
