Site now has Avatars

You can now add an Avatar to your profile on the site.

Just login and add your photo and it will display next to all your songs.

I noticed there is no gif support. I love this feature though.

I feel like no animated gif support is a feature in itself

Actually that's cause the they are automatically scaled to thumbnails and linux convert just takes the first frame on gifs I believe.

This is a pretty sweet feature! It may not have animated gif support, but the majority of the time people are going to see the fairly small avatar next to song scores anyway.

Although I have to wonder why the the avatars for the main site have no size restraints, and can be up to 1mb when the forums avatars can only be 200x200, and 48.83 KiB.

That's just what I set it to. I can increase the file size for the forum, but I'd prefer the dimensions to be within 200x200. As for the main site the dimensions will get shrunk regardless so there is no restriction.

Having the dimensions be within 200x200 in the forum is perfectly fine, what I really was getting at is whether or not the forums can re-size image uploads as well. If the forum is incapable of image resizing then it's not a big deal, but since the main site has no problem resizing image uploads I wasn't sure if the forum could as well.
