We should because it is summer and people are bored at homes so it is a good thing to have this year.

Anyone is welcome to organize their own tournament. I'll consider making some kind of officially endorsed smo tournament with prizes though.

The difficult part is making it fair and evenly matched. There are some uber good players that would wipe the floor of most players and that just isn't fun for the vast majority of people. There would have to be a tiered bracket system so you can play against players around your level. Judging what bracket you'd be in would also be a challenge. Not impossible, but it involves some work.
