I have so far played one song from this pack, and don't get me wrong, I am not going to generalize/judge the whole pack off of this one simfile, granted if that actually was the case, there would be some good and bad since the simfile I played wasn't exactly hard in the sense of steps.

The song I played that I wanted to comment on was MEGALOVANGARANG by stepartist Kirby5464. This simfile critique will be broken down into 3 parts, since extra effects were a thing here. They'll be FG Animations/Mods, followed by steps, and then finally song type.

FG Animations/Mods;

I'm going to say, I definitely was not expecting something like this from this pack. I actually came home from work one day, and was asked to try it out in which, I did. I'm quite pleased that there was some scripting added to this chart involving mods. Good choice of mods as it progressively gets visually difficult nearing the end. However, I do kind of wish there was more "beat" to it since it is a remix of a skrillex song afterall.

Steps;

I'm not entirely sure on what to say here as there was too many incomplete foot switches and crossovers that didn't make sense. If these steps were suppose to make you go backwards specifically at the most visually intense areas, that would make those parts frankly redundant. It just does not flow well in regards to the rest of the simfile, especially if it is rated a 13, which is way too high considering the lack of 16th runs in it. With the crossovers and foot switches, it would be more of a 12 or a 12-, or if there was some 16th runs in it, maybe a 12+. Note, that I played this on pad.

Song choice/type;

Good song choice, then again, anything involving an electronic artist, or more specifically dubstep usually is a good song for a simfile of sorts. This remix is a pretty good remix, in fact, I might want to make a 5panel or a 4panel simfile for it. Maybe even a pump doubles/routine. Mmm.

I will continue to play this pack and critique it to the best of my ability.

BarX, I really appreciate this review. Its probably one of the best ones so far, and yeah. Thanks for that :D

And talking about making steps for 5k... I'm not sure, I was thinking of making the pack universal, but I don't know, it would be the third update of Team Polygon after the jacket update. But maybe i could just start adding 5k,solo,7k steps to the already existing stepfiles. Who knows.
I make animations on MikuMikuDance. Go check it out. If you want...

I thinking about a video... Ok?
